I am going to be getting a twin screw soon and i think i am going to go with a Whipple. I was just wondering if i am gonna lose that beautiful sound of the Eaton screaming. I know the KB 2.2's screamed, but wasn't sure if the Whip 2.3's did or not.

They do, it's more of a higher pitched whine. Just not near as loud as the KB. I have heard some whipples that were spun pretty hard (19-22 lbs) and they were f'ing loud.

if you have a midpippe and catback, you wont hear them too much. i can barely hear mine at all.

I really do not think they whine until 5,000 RPM and it pullied with the hood down and in the car. IMHO I think they are too quiet. You can not hear it at idle either. My ported eaton was alot louder. I would rather hear a SC whine over an exhaust.

my whipple has a deeper whine to it, compared to my ported eaton. i loved the way the eaton sounded, and almost got a KB for the whine, but couldn't stand their customer service--two weeks of calling to get a hold of them on the phone.

and i have a catback only--you can imagine how loud the blower is

3.50" Whipple here w/stock lower pulley and an FR500 exhaust...

If there is such a thing as a Stealth Terminator... Then that's what I've got!

It does whine but not as loud as a pullied Eaton or KB which suits me fine.
