******Saturday, October 27th, 2007******
It’s been some time now (a little over a year) since the last time we had one of these little road cruise / get together. We were thinking about a Big Bear cruise, but due to the recent fires we decided it was best to just have a hybrid of the previous routes we have done. A fellow SVTP member (Jessie Jaramill) pm’ed me and asked for Joe, Paul and myself to put a little something together that starts at the Rose Bowl and ends at a Hooters.
We will meet up at the Rose Bowl first and end up at either the Hooters or Bob’s Big Boy in Burbank once we figure out the parking issues. Let us know what you guys think.
UPDATE 10/26/07
****NEW ROUTE****
Alright guys, we have decided to change the route. We put alot of thought into it and decided it was the best. The parks authorities say that the roads can be closed at any minute depending on any change of the fire sitaution and that there will be more of a police/park ranger presence due to the recent fires. For those of you still wanting to take the canyon route, you are welcomed to do so, go to the first post and print out the directions for yourself.
Here is the route for tomorrow:
Depart from Rose Bowl Parking Lot K onto Seco St, head east towards 210 Fwy
Make a right at Rosemont Ave. and another right on Orange Grove Ave.
We will take Orange Grove Southbound past the 134. It will take about 1.5 miles to reach the onramp to the 110 Fwy.
We will then take the 110 towards Downtown Los Angeles and merge onto the 5 Fwy North.
We will than take the 5 Fwy North to the 134 West towards Ventura
We will exit on Buena Vista and make a left at the light
This will put us on Riverside Dr. that we can take to the intersection of Riverside & Alameda, where Bob’s Big Boy is located.
This route gives us a bit more freeway time and should be fun. It shouldn't take us more than a half hour to 45 minutes though. We will be passing out directions if we get copies printed out tonight. See you all there and I apologize for the route change, but I see it as our best and safest option.

For anyone interested in still going on the original route, I am leaving it posted here.

We will not be recording this cruise or making any video. As you all may know, we have not been able to edit/produce the video of our last cruise due to our professional lives taking too much time. Unfortunately, we just do not have the time to spend on putting together these videos and they have always taken away from us enjoying the cruise itself. So we will be out there to enjoy this day as much as all of you will be.
This cruise (as is with all the cruises that TSP organizes) is open to all car enthusiasts out there. Muscle Car fans of all makes, models and years are welcome to come, so bring out your Ford, GM, Mopar, etc... and enjoy this awesome cruise. As usual, we welcome our high performance import friends to these events also.
