Corned beef, red potatoes, and cabbage.

The corned beef package comes with all of the seasonings, just add a little bit of water, the beef and the potatoes, about two hours before you want to eat add cabbage.

I don't own one..... do I need to get one? Are that that great????

you can throw a rubber tire in one and it will make it taste good. it a slow cooker so anything you cook in it just cooks into all the flavors. you just throw the stuff in it in the morning and leave it on all day. it makes any meat tender and fall apart.
screw typing with this itouch

I have had one sitting in the cupboard for years.
I've never even used it.
I could use a couple of good recipes.
It keeps the mess down to one pot.

You can get a crock pot bag for about $.30 and then you just throw the mess away with the bag.

My wife has a few good ones. I'll try to get them together. We work shift work so they work wonders for us. Alexis gets home in the morning put a dinner together in about 10minutes and sets the timer for 6-8hrs and it's ready to go. Cant' beat it.

yeah, for some things... but you can't throw your food together in the morning and let it cook all day while you are gone with a grill.
Yeah, that's true I guess. I got nothin to contribute. Never used one... :??:

Did pulled pork a couple of months ago. Off the top of my head. Line bottom with quartered onions and a bunch of whole garlic cloves. Throw in a pork roast and fill up with BBQ sauce (stick with a less sweet variety) I used 2 or 3 types. Cook for 5 or 6 hours. Carefully remove roast, dispose of onions and garlic, excess fat, toss roast back into pot and pile onto nice buns.

Its something like that.

For us boys in the cold part of the country this time of year, chili in the crock pot is great!
