Broke 12s with my bolton 2v GT

hey guys, i posted this a while ago in the pics and vids section. but i wanted to check in in the racing area.

i took my car 12.7 @106 with bolt ons. that day i ran the car 6 times, going 13.1 twice, and 13 flat twice. and a couple other random runs. since then, with the same mods, took the car 12.8 twice and 12.9 a few times. havent seen another 12.7 since that day. but hell, the weather was perfect and the track was as good as you could get.

mods

longtubes, o/r x, bassani catback
jlt intake, pp throttle body, Trick flow plenum
moser 31 splines, 05 mustang diff, 4.10 gears
hoosier quick time pro 26x9x16s

i took out the rear seats, sway bar, front bumper support and speaker deck. weighed in at 3300 with my 18s up front. car has stock suspension but lowered on eibach prokit

car dynoed 260/297 when these were taken. since then my best dyno was 260/300 lol.

This weekend will be my first time with some new mod's, like my hooker headers, et mt 275/40r17's and the 4.30 gears. I was will be looking for the low to mid 12's. But only time will tell.

What are you launching at?
How would the stock axles/diff last under medium rpm launches?

Nice job..I've heard that is a tough feat for most 2v owners.

thanks guys!!!!

i launched with the stock axels and 410s with MT drag radials at 4k all day. never a problem. when i went with a wrinkle wall tire, i did the 31 splines at the same time so there would be no problems

nice job by the way. That GT runs great! and you definatly seem to have the driver mod! awesome runs man. now add spray and break 11's

What 60' and E.T. difference was there between the DRs and the street slicks?

DRs 1.83 13.40

Street slicks 1.69 and 12.8s

there are other factors why the ET is alot lower on the hoosier QTPs, like i added TB and Plenum, no sway or bumper etc.
