Pics of Cut Springs

I just got a extra set of coupe springs and I wanna see know how much to cut off of them?

I don't have pics but just search and you'll finnd plenty. I cut mine 3/4 of a coil front and rear and the car now sits perfectly level now.

mine is cut 1 coil all the way around. Might cut a 1/4 coil off the front yet.

One third of a coil on the rear.(battery in trunk, no spare, full tank)
One quarter of a coil front.

Stock isolators.

i cut mine one coil in front and 3/4 coil in rear. front ride height now is 26 from ground to top of fender and 27 in the rear. the car use to sit 1.5 inches higher. I however just picked up a stock set of coils to put back in because im in cali and we have lots of speedbumps and i scrape everywhere plus when i corner real hard my driver side rear tire rubs on the outer fenderwell and is cutting a groove in it. keep in mind i have afs 17 x 10.5 replica rims with bfg 315's and a 1/8 eight inch spacer. it does however look mean lowered.

1 coil all around, isos are still in, may take out the fronts one day to give it a rake.

I want to know if you installed coupe springs and cut them 1 coil front and back or if you cut the stock convertible springs 1 coil front and back.

Can you also do me a HUGE favor.. Measure the fender height (from the middle of the wheel) front and back. I wanted to document how much the car was lowered by cutting a coil.

Here's what you will get with 1 coil in the front and 3/4 in the rear with stock wheels.



Here's 3/4 in the front and a little more than 5/8 in the rear with 10.5's and 315's.


And 1 coil in the front and H&R Race in the rear with 295-35-18's in the rear and 265-35-18's in the front.
