Hey guys, I saw an engine bay from a show car here that was a '96-98 Saleen Cobra and the engine bay was completely chromed out. I would love to see some more pics of it! I'm getting ready to re-paint my car and I'd like to dip my intake manifold, valve covers, sway bar etc... in chrome also. Any ideas on about how much this would cost me? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hmmm, now that I think about it that is kind of a disappointment. I definitely don't want to add weight. Looks like I'll just get some nice valve covers and maybe paint the intake manifold.

I like the polishing idea. With contrasting paint/powder coating. Won't compare to chrome plating as far as ultimate bling/show factor, but as mentioned above you won't have to worry about excessive heat and weight. The engine that is ALL chrome is a bit over the top IMO. Not even sure I'd want that on an all-show car.
