Newton, Ia. Car Show (Iowa Speedway)

I am trying to get together a group of cars to cruise up to the show!

Ok Guys... I got the info for the Car Show. I would like to try and be there around 10:00am if Possible!

OK guys, now that we are within a week of this, it time to iron out a start time.

My thoughts would be to LEAVE Altoona at 10am. I think the best place to meet would be the parking lot at the north west corner of Prairie Meadow Race Tack and Casino (cant miss the HUGE Casino sign.

According to the flyer, Registration is 8-12:30 and the Show is 11-3. Drag Racing is between 3:30-7:30.

Any guys in the Ames area want to meet up at the Kmart parking lot at 9:00 and leave by 9:15. Also, if there is anyone that will be driving past Ames want to meet up that'll be cool too.

According to Mapquest, it is 29 min from my house to Newton ( Iowa Speedway)! So probably about 20min.

If I go it'll probably be around 2, maybe you guys will find me in the crowd some where.

besides the drive in movie, that is the only time I have been to newton, too lazy right now to look it up. I have only lived in des moines 5 years.
