The orange SS was driven by my BF, and the green Fox was a close friend of ours. Both were asked to instruct for this event, and both were beating up on cars worth much more than theirs!

Nice video! SS seems to hold its own on the track.

Nice pictures as well. Those Vipers are ridiculous.

That SS and Stang outran those race prepped Comp Coupes? If they did, the drivers must be really, really, really bad.

Its not that the viper drivers were really really bad (maybe they were maybe they weren't) It seems that the Camaro driver was really really good!

No, not the Comp Coupes...those things are just fast! But, Will ran a second faster than the black ACR I posted first, and he (ACR) was the fastest in his group. I think the Fox was around 4-5 sec behind the ACR...oh, did I mention the Fox was on street tires?? (This is on a 2.9 mile road course btw)

Jimmy, I think avg lap times for the student groups were in the 2.10-2.20 range. Will clocked in a 1.59 and several 2.00's, but he was having some oiling/overheating issues. The ACR ran around a 2.00. Viper Days provides all drivers with transponders! That's just nuts!

Cool. I wish I could have been there for the Comp Coupes. By the time I got there, they were all getting ready to pack up!
