I had tire rack return my front 275 Kuhmo Xs tire's because the 315-30-18's have been on backorder for 4 months.. So I'm going to give the new Rival's a shot..

They are summer only tire's and are a little wider than the R888's in a 315 width..

Hmm first I've ever heard of them. Can't seem to find any reviews on them besides miatas and AWD cars. I am a fan of bfg tires. Are they a direct competitor to the r888?

No the UTQG on the Toyo's are 100 AA A vs. 200 AA A.

I'm looking for more of a street tire on the front and rear of my car. I'm going to place the order in the am. They should be here on Friday, So i'll update this thread then..

I just noticed them on the site over the weekend. Wish they were a little cheaper i'd snag some up. but look like they may be a good mix between a street tire and a dr.

Never heard of them. Keep us updated. Looks like they make a 335/30/18 too sweet!

13.5" section width on the Rival which is the same as my KDW2s. R888 is 13.3"

Ive got about 15k miles on my rear KDW2s and I should be able to get at least another 5-8k out of them. Might of found my next tire.

Good looking tire! Released late Jan 2013 but still not produced

Are you planning on running them on all 4 corners?

Review: BFGoodrich G-Force Rival

Pros:
Fun. To. Drive.
Aims for an incredibly progressive grip and hits that target hard.
Well-mannered control and recovery.
Amazingly fast and precise steering feel.
Excellent treadwear.
Makes you look like a better driver.
Did I mention fun to drive?
Cons:
Some may dislike relatively stiff steering feel and somewhat hard street ride.
Not a daily driver by any stretch of the imagination.

We are gonna daily drive these :poke:

Being a 200 wear tire I'm going to run them in front and rear.

Looks like a nice tire. I was just about to pull the trigger on some nt05's, but now thinking about these.

I hate to bring the thread back from the dead but I HATE these tires.

I run them on my Evo, and while they have great feedback they do NOT have a high cornering grip. Keep in mind this Evo has Ohlins coilovers, sway bars and other suspension goodies and I've spent countless days tweaking things. They squeal very quickly way before you would think so.
