03/04 cobra weight....

what does your 03-04 cobra weigh without you in it? my camaro is at 3414 lbs on a very acurate scale and i was just curious how much #'s you guys are hauling around.

Please state weight,mods, 1/4 mile, or hp if you have'em,

mine came in at 3780 without me in it.
my friends 99 TA 6spd TTop came in at 3580 lbs. without him.

what all do you have done as far as weight reduction mods (besides the SRA)? Mine weighed the usual 3650 with the IRS but i havent been back on a scale since i did the SRA swap.

Mine weighed in at 3660 with me it at the track. I weigh about 190lbs and the Prostars took off about 90lbs or so, figure about 3560 or so in street trim. Only weight reduction is no Mott bar, no spare tire/jack, and off road exhaust.

none thee above are on the car.... The only thing left for me to take out is the ABS block. Everything the car didn't need to make it down the 1/4 was removed.... at the moment I have door panels and the radio head unit and tweeters and rear seats in (my son wants a ride every now and again when the wife isn't home...he's 4)

Not even close. There are guys that race NMRA that are under 3,000# with driver. They actually have to add weight plates to the rear to make minimum weigh for their class.

Not everyone that owns an 03-04 Cobra is on the SVT Performance forums......or any internet forum for that matter.

Mine is 3410 in race trim with big and lils. Thats with A/C and PS with the factory K member still in place.

I could make this thing a bunch lighter if I wanted to go nuts... remove dash, lexan windows remove p/w remove abs block... yadda yadda... heck I think there is a guy making his out of all carbon fiber!!!!
