Well I pulled the Whipple off today and I was curious to see how the intercooler was looking after 2 years. I was pretty happy with the results!

All in all still Very Clean!

Now it's time to go tackle the valve covers!

Around 4000 miles or so.

That I/C is as clean as a whistle. When I got the blower/intercooler/lower all out for the swap I noticed a considerable amount of build up so I'm going to do this soon.

Proof positive that even a home made oil separator works like magic. And is absolutely worth the trouble to make and install.

That intercooler looks like it's never been used.

Why are you making fun of waxing your door jams. Doesn't everyone do that?

Now I'll admit that when I wax the rails under my seats that might be going a little overboard.

Never heard of crinkle black. Wrinkle black maybe?

Wrin kle black done right would look badass on our valve covers.

I thought everyone does? :-D

Would you happen to have any pics of the seperator install and what you used?
Here is when I first put it on.

Then I shortened the hose and got the bracket anodized black for looks.

Here's the link that started it all.

Had my seperator for 2 years now as well. I dont have any oil in it. Guess its the new heads. My old heads would fill the catch after 4 tankfuls.
