cold air kit...should've been your first mod, before pulleys and tune
well it was like that when I bought it. The original owner removed the snorkel/ air silencer and put a k&n drop in filter on. A cold air intake isn't that big of a deal where it "Should have been" (Fixed) on first before pulley.

"Needs" and "should have been" are not exactly the same thing, now are they?
It sounds like you already have all the answers and should just go ahead and mod it like you want to.

Many people run the stock intake tube with a k&n filter, even with whipples, ports, etc when making big power. I did an intake on mine mostly because I think the stock ones are ugly. I want a Gen 2 RAI or high boost by they are ridiculous money.
I'd do the tips. If your car is already tuned, and you do a new intake you'd probably want a new tune anyways which would make you spend more money. Tips ftw, I just put SLP tips and my car looks 100 times better from the rear.

Yea idk what that guy was talking about. and it is just a mail order tune. I am getting a real tune sooner or later. I have a thread about what kind of tips do you mind posting a picture in that thread of the tips you have?

Tips first.....but I'd go with a paint matched JLT RAI over a k&n Kit
I was going to go with the Jlt but I narrowed it down to the k&n. The cars black so I would've just got the textured one.
Does anyone know the Id of the stock air intake at the throttle body ?
