Both cars are 100% bone stock, C7 belongs to SVTP's favorite troll, gt500 slayer...well, it's his wife's.

GT500 has gone 11.7's, as stated 100% stock including the factory tires...which don't have much left lol.

Let me say, that gt500 is retardedly fast for a stock car. More vids of it to come!

Damn that C7 got out of hole! Race would've been over by the time the GT500 finally pulled back around.

It so far appears a new GT500 is trapping an average of 6 or so miles per hour faster. That race looks like it went down just like the number have shown. Now if I was the owner I would still want to race him again to see how well any modifications help. Gonna need a few just to match the 500 stock. At least for me that is half the fun. Wrenching and modding. Never can leave well enough alone.

It does look like an auto C7 though has the potential to give the GT 500 a legitimate fight in a 1/4 mile race.

Id say its closer to 10mph on average.

Highest ive seen a C7 trap is 118. GT500 128.

Lowest around 112 for the C7 and 120 for GT500. Anything lower than that is mostly due to driver error.

Id still say thats damn good for the C7 considering its down 200hp and isnt that light by vette standards

Predictably, your facts are wrong.
Same day, same track the difference is ~5-6 mph.

200hp advantage & only a 400lb +/- weight disadvantage = 5-6mph. Yea i can see it :-/

Proof of this side by side race at the track with near equal drivers?
