If the jag engine a coyote?

Anyway cam selection and intake/exhaust accompaniment make most of the difference there. It's the reason the coyote engine doesn't produce 412 hp in the trucks. The cam profile shifts the power downward in the rpm range which then also reduces maximum hp.

They may have discontinued the engine series but Jaguar V8s are referred to as the AJV8. It is not the same engine as the Coyote.
