Good to hear.. I started installing my rears today.. Got them both on and now just gotta tackle the fronts tomorrow.. Did you not get the front springs with your purchase? I got a full set when I bought mine..
Good luck with the fronts. What spring compressor do you have?

The rears are Eibach drag springs without the iso's. The fronts are Fox. It sat pretty high with the iso's and now looks a lot better with them out. For comparison's sake, here's what it looked like before with stock 96 GT springs in the rear.

I like how that sits. What is a good combination of springs to keep the front end at a low stance w/ drag springs in the rear? How much would it hurt to not run straight drag springs in the front but something similar but not so that it sits so high?

Why don't you just run some coilovers up front and put them as low as you want? My MMR's were really cheap, and work just fine. Just a thought.

I got both springs in in about an hour.. i had a spring compressor that i got bought from a local parts store.. it worked great and i got them compressed enough and wrapped some bailing wire around some coils then used a pry bar to get it the rest of the way.. the passenger side went in after about 30 seconds of prying.. it was way easier than i thought it was going to be..

Im very happy with the springs.. they ride nice and i cant wait to use them on the track..

Coilovers like BMF42 said, or a coil out of any old stock spring will do the trick.

It's pretty easy to find a 4 cylinder foxbody in a junkyard, though. ;-)

The whole idea behind the drag spring kit is weight transfer to back tires. So if you want to drop the car at all, you dont want drag springs.

I want to do coil overs but it was not on the plan for this year b/c I was doing that and a K member all at the same time and was planned on being done next year.

Im more of a street strip person myself I hate to give up my lowered look but I want it to hook hard at the track b/c I'll also be using slicks this year.

What if I went w/ strange shocks/struts (10ways) as a compensation for keeping my current springs but also trying to improve on the launch and 60' time? I will also have MM LCA and a panhard bar

Lakewoods would be better for the 60 foot. 90/10's and 50/50's. I'll be getting them soon.

But again, your going to be giving up a bit of the street in in a street/strip.

I am going to search now. But I believe the old Eibach ads said you could cut one coil from the front springs to lower it w/out hurting performance.

Let me know what you think of them after you get them.

Do you have iso's in the front. Are they uncut?

It sucks. Or maybe my ancient Strange 10 ways do. And it sits really dadgum low. Don't know how on earth it could transfer weight as well as everyone says. I guess I'll find out for sure come track time.
