I bought a teskid block, 04 heads with stage two cams. My question is...who has the best prices on piston/rod combos? I have an 03 cobra crank in good shape to use with this set-up. I'm not against buying a short block from someone, but I have heard so many horror stories! Give me some ideas...

Long story on this one, it's been at my parents place since 2009 and I'm home on leave trying to get it to run right. Every month my dad fires it up to get it warm and cycle some fuel through it. Well one time he fired it up and it blew two huge holes through my car cover from it back firing...
