The car is never driven in the rain, so I'm not worried about Moisture. It's also a cheaper and better solution to heat control I feel. I would use the lava rock wrap I think DEI makes some called titanium or maybe that's the color. I was also wondering if there was anyone wrapping there x pipes...

I have the last piece to my puzzle! I was able to pick up a green catted X pipe. I sent out the ID1050 injectors i picked up to injector dynamics for a cleaning and service before I install. I have decided not to coat my headers they will either go on bare or wrapped. I am wondering is there...

WANTED: Kooks headers and green catted x pipe for 14 GT500

Still looking, I have the headers, I would prefer a green catted H pipe, but if someone has a x pipe out there I'd be interested in that too.

I was able to pick up the headers at over half off compared to new, the seller agreed to pay for the o2 bung replacement so no added cost to me. The tubes being welded to the flange that was the welders suggestion after I brought him the headers and shown him what happened when I was trying to...

Putting in a crank saver is a definite must if you're changing out the lower pulley. I would also not be afraid to install it just out of precaution. The most important part of that install is to lube up the dampner shaft with oil were the seal rides and to torque the crankshaft Bolt/Nut...

Yes if I decide to open the front case to install cams those are all components that should be upgraded and replaced, if I do NSR cams I'll replace them with out taking off the front cover, however if I do a springs required cam set like JDM's I'll remove the cover and replace those components...

That sucks, sorry to see that. Serves as a good reminder to do our P.M. though. Good luck with your repairs.

Sure I can, lets start with the crankshaft is not rotating at a constant speed, it is in fact twisting and whipping (accelerating and decelerating constantly) a multitude of reasons cause this but the big ones are the compression stroke and the power stroke as these are contradicting forces...

You sure can, though an upper would be a more cost effective way to make power, I believe making power by increasing the size of the lower is offers other advantages. 1. It is an improved balancer over stock once you start increase power 2. It decreases the chance of breaking the oil pump...
