I have a 2000 gt with a firewall adjuster and a quadrant. I put in a new clutch less than a few hundred miles on it, and thought i had the clutch adjusted well, but i think its set up wrong. When i put it in reverse, it clunks and lurches backwards a little bit with the clutch fully depressed...

Yeah I'd say so based on scavenging. May not be a huge difference but it also won't sound like a farm truck lol.

Get an x or h pipe in there w the muffler combo of your choosing. A long tube h pipe isn't very expensive and you may like it with the Mac catback

My p1 is really loud at idle. I've been around other vortech and Paxton cars and it's definitely louder than most of them.

Do you smell gas around the outside of the car? Or fresh gas? I suspect a tank gasket or iirc the filler neck gasket could be leaking.

Got it. I always heard it causes a vacuum and pulls the rings out to be seated. Fwiw i did a good deal of it on mine and see no ill effects from doing so.

I have always been told the opposite actually. I tried to look it up but cant find any info supporting or saying its bad. But my 2 year old is up and asking 20 questions a minute and making demands left and right lol

This should be an interesting thread to follow. What will the stock 3.5 ecoboost handle powerwise before a rebuild is necessary? What will stock turbos support?

Dont let her sit there and idle. If nothing else do what i did run it na and beat on it a little bit. Do lots of engine braking.
