I grab the key cutting metal shavings from Home Depot to enhance bi-metallic coolant flow. Really drops temperatures in stop/go traffic. Amke sure you avoid metal shavings from red keys. That’s for Audis only
Other than an intake manifold, I believe I have all the bolt-ons available. I will discuss unlocking the ECU, but I'll research that a bit as the car only has 3K miles on it. Anxious to see my wheel HP with headers.....
Thought about it, but am used to single family homes. Multi-unit issues like plumbing, roof leak, or HVAC issues concern me a little. At this point, I'd have to trade houses for multifamily thing. I'd only go to two 4 plexes or an 8 door unit.
Corvette tax. It's stupid. For a time the cheap exhausts were $3K and up. I just went with headers, stock exhaust, and swapped out the goofy squared tips.
Geared for 0-60 times, but falls on its face after that. I'd like to see a gearset with closer ratios with only gears 7 and 8 as overdrive. I'd spend money on that.
I'm taking my C8 in tomorrow for a dyno session. Supposed to be 495 at the crank, but I have a CAI, TB, headers, and test pipes. I'm also at 7K' elevation, so FI would be nice. Starting price is around $20K. Too rich for my blood.
