So lately the cobra has been acting up in an annoying manner.
So, half the time the car starts and drive perfectly normally. However, the other half, its been doing this.
At start up, revs drop immediately instead of holding 1000rpm and dip to 750ish or so. Vacuum is low, i.e. at 5...
Ok folks, the cobra's a/c is blowing not ice cold air. I imagine its a little low on 134, so I'd like to add some.
I'm assuming the compressor is turning (haven't looked yet), but assuming it is, just open the low pressure port, and add refrigerant, yes (a/c on max, blower speed on max...
I know some people were looking for some feedback here, so I'll try my best.
Part: I paid $200 for this. The part was new from a private seller, but had been sitting and therefore had some surface rust. I believed this to be no big deal, but it ended up being a pain. More on that later...
My rear suspension consists of a 98 cobra solid rear, global west lower control arms, h&r SS springs, and koni single adjustables
The car handles pretty well and grip from the rear is quite good. The only problem is the slight sideways skip over bumps.

4 painted silver 99 cobra 17x8 wheels. Wheels in excellent shape with only minor scratches and only a few small nicks on the lip.
2 wheels have nitto drag radials on them that have maybe a few trips down the strip left. 275/40/17 on there.

So after a long drive today (500+ miles), I got home and noticed that the electrical connector (at the harness) for the water temp sensor has cracked and the wires are exposed. It still works, but for how long, who knows.
Does anyone know of a possible source for this electrical connector...

ok folks, I'm looking to relocate my catch can to the inner fenderwell for a cleaner look and no chance of oil mist in the engine bay.
I'm looking for a good place to mount it, and I don't have the car in front of me, so I'm wondering if anybody has any good pictures of the DRIVERS SIDE wheel...
So my old 9" long, 4" opening S&B filter was a little torn up and I saw a thread on modular fords about a huge air filter off one of their diesel kits. So for a whooping $54 I had to try it.
My good lord the pics don't do it justice, its huge.
Not only that, it has deeper pleats for more...
