Build Thread: 1987 Porsche 930 Factory Slant Nose

Wow we have a couple rare 87 930's Ours is not a slant nose, but is a targa (under 100 for the year). The prior owner spent a ton freshening the engine as well. Really enjoy the car.

    2024 NHL Playoffs

I am genuinely surprised the Bruins won. I thought they were going to go the same way as 2023.....

    RIP Tesla cybertruck

I have not followed this thread at ALL as I do not give a crap about any EV. I have now seen at least 4 of these crap wagons (2 this month in SW Florida). Talk about one ugly f ing vehicle in my eyes.

I would be perfectly happy with the GTD to be NA and loose all the weight of the SC and its plumbing. Actually feel the same way about the 05 - 06 FGT. There is a GT in the Dearborn area that has the road runner (Boss 302) engine in it. Its an amazing build.

So as mentioned, indeed, Reliable brings the vehicle to a location of your choice, and in wrapper condition. This location, can be your dealer, house, storage facility what ever. The dealer comes to you as well to finish out the transaction. Got an official e-mail yesterday, confirming what I...

How many guys are still here from many years ago?

^^^ Totally agree, its the venue, albeit a beautiful one. I was only sharing my observations of the event. Outside of trying to sort by year, or specialty (Saleen, Roush, ssp etc), nothing can be done about the spread out nature of the facility. Part of my problem, was being impatient for the...

How many guys are still here from many years ago?

What did you see at Talledega? I stopped by there on the way to back to the airport on Sunday (ATL), there were no mustangs there. I saw a lot of them at Barber Motorsports Park..... Another detail of the 60th show I didn't like, is that outside of the Saleens and SSP cars (likely organized via...

Thoughts on buying a “bridge car”?

As we are mostly talking about Mustangs here..... Id consider a used gen 2 GT350, or maybe going back a bit to a S197 B302.... Your budget also covers 13-14 GT500's No matter what, used, as thats the biggest deprecation. After that, man there are a lot of options, you could warm your self up...

How many guys are still here from many years ago?

There were LOTS of S197 and S550's, and generally "GT" class of cars. I do not recall even seeing one GT350R or B302LS that was not on track. There was a good group of Saleens and SSP cars. There were 3 Saleen coupes (quite rare to see). There were a few special low mileage Foxes, just not a...

Bought a Dark Horse with the Ford Performance Whipple Kit

I'm simply amazed how many cars you go through. Must be close to a full time job dealing with the transactions, then the mods.

What did you do to your foxbody mustang today?

Do I recognize that carport? Is that the restorer in TN that posts a lot on Stangnet?
