Hey fuelforfire87. I'm interested in this. I'm running the Kooks 1 7/8" long tube headers with cats, but thinking about going catless. I am willing to pay for shipping.
I am running the Eibach R1 coil over kit. This kit in the rear uses an adjustable perch mount. What I've learned while experimenting with this setup is as follows:
For lowering the car from 1.5" to 2.5" they work great. If you're lowering only 1", I don't recommend it. To maintain around...
Something to note, I ran a monoblade with this setup, and it wasn't the most enjoyable after letting off and under boost. The monoblade would slam shut. I actually went from the monoblade to a twin 65 and my drivability was much better.
I am running a 4.63" now, but did run a 4.75 on my D1SC. With my 4.75, I saw around 9ish lbs of boost, but I had belt slip. You might see 10lbs if you run an RPM belt. On the 4.63 I see about 13lbs.
I run a sticky 315 out back and it's not enough to hold that torque in 1st or 2nd. There is really no reason to make more. However, as you pulley down, your procharger will make more torque down low. I am now making 13lbs of boost and getting about 15 degrees of timing with my smaller pulley...
With that being said, of course the reason for doing this is to make more boost down low and attempt to get more torque that the centri's don't make compared to twin screws. I can tell you this, with my D1SC, on the dyno with only 9lbs of boost, I had a flat line of 500lbft of torque at the...
As far as waste gating the Procharger, I have not done it. I actually spent a lot of time chatting with the techs at procharger and also talking it over with my tuner, and it kind of sounds like doing this can damage your centri blowers (yes, I know others do it, but alas, it can wear them out...
Glad to hear you got it all mated up. I used the ATI on with my 10 rib setup and the only thing I needed were the longer bolts that came with my balancer.
If you're a Ford guy, Intake manifold, CAI, headers, full exhaust, and tune. If you're a Chevy guy, Heads, Cam, Intake manifold, throttle body, Headers, full exhaust, Nitrous, and tune.
