Hey guys! Bone stock 03 cobra has been sitting for some time. I replaced the FRPS so far to this point. Car will idle fine, and under very light load drive fine under 3k rpm.
As soon as any boost is hit the car will begin to decelerate even if you have your foot to the floor like the throttle doesn’t isn’t be applied. Absolutely falls flat on it’s face. The car will stall out if you don’t put your in on the clutch ( only way to keep the car running at that point) and it will begin to run rough. If you turn the car off and back on it and clear the codes it will idle smooth and run as it did previously.
Codes are p0190 Fuel Rail Pressure sensor A circuit ( already replaced FRPS), P0234 supercharger overboost condition.
Any ideas prior to me just replacing everything? Could of been bad gas so I fill up with fresh and ran long enough that it should of been in the engine with still being the same thing. Next steps will be spark plugs, fuel filter.

I would log fuel pressure and see what’s going on, it could be an issue with the frps but you replaced that, check the wiring and vacuum line to it as well.

Fuel pressure higher or lower than expected can cause that code is my understanding.

I did see another thread that suggested fuel pressure issue could trigger the over boost code as well

Pretty sure the OEM pump assembly is discontinued. IF it was the fuel pumps, can I go to a higher CFM pumps and just install in the OE assembly without retuning the system? Really want to steer away from tuning if I can and replace with OE if I can.
