Thanks for all the replies guys. Can someone school me on ceramic coating? Is it worth the investment and what does the care process look like afterward? Is it just a wipe down or rinse/dry process to maintain?
Thank you for the response. I've seen some of your work on other posts and must say you do some incredible work! I will check out those videos. Any thoughts on using Chemical Guys stuff? Saw a "starter kit" which was roughly $100 and seemed like a decent deal.
As far as pics, what hosting site...
Bob,
Thank you for the reply. The method you mention above is similar to what i have done in the past with my mustangs, minus the cordless blower. I've always used a chamois to dry off my car. Do people still use those things, or is everyone going the route of air to dry their cars?
Hey all,
Just picked up a new to me 2012 Boss 302 from South Carolina. Car had 4k miles on it. Flew down and drove it home to PA (roughly 750 miles). I believe the previous owner cried a bit when i told him I was planning on driving it home the whole way haha. I intend in putting miles on and...
I had one for a short period of time and I liked a lot about it. Coming from a Lariat F150 however, the road noise and cheaper fit and finish (doors seemed to lack sound deadening of any kind) was a big detractor for me. I also had a gen 2 sporttrac limited, and if the fit/finish was as good...
I'd tend to agree on both accounts. I do a lot of Sous Vide, and 128 degrees seems to be the sweet spot for Medium Rare. Cook time is usually 2hrs, and I finish with a blow torch.
When it comes to the A5, I wouldn't do the sous vide as much as I like the way steaks turn out. I'd just...
I haven't seen many "max effort" NA 4.6L that have faired well over time. I'd much prefer a boosted 4.6 or a coyote at that power level, but thank you for the reply.
Take it for what its worth ( I didn't do a fact check) , but this was in a recent article.
One thing that’s not very different is the engine that pedal is connected to, which remains a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 delivering 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque that breathes through a new exhaust...
Hey all,
I haven't been on or checked in to here in quite some time. I sold my last SN several years ago and have been out of the car scene ever since. I am looking to get back into an SN, possibly a Mach 1 or 03-04 cobra. I have no timeline on my search and will wait for exactly the right car...
Like the title says. This is for modular 4.6 cars. came off of a 96 cobra, but it should work for all 96-04 4.6 cars. It was originally an off road h-pipe, but a set of magnaflow high flow cats was welded in. Fits perfect. $175. Can't find a catted mid pipe for this price. Would prefer local...
Like the title states, I have a 4 point strut tower brace from SLP for an 03-04 cobra. Cost $257 from lethal new. I will take $150 shipped. PM gets priority. Thank you,
Like the title says, I have a pair of 17" cobra spares. Both in nice shape. Good tread on tires. Use as a budget pair of front runners, or I will separate. $100 plus shipping each firm. PM takes priority. Thank you.
guys,
idk if this video has been posted, but saw this and
2013 GT500 vs 2003 SVT Cobra - YouTube
It's hard to tell from the posts, but the 03 makes 547whp, and I want to say the 2013 has an intake, and maybe a tune?
If this was already posted feel free to delete, but I didn't see it. 100whp difference on the same dyno, same day.
