I want to do this so bad. I want to rip every stock wiring harness/computer out of the car. I will do this once I go standalone, but with having to take the dash out for the cage, it really makes me want to do this now. lol but i will be patient until I can afford to go standalone i guess.
Well...struggled with the car all year with tiny problem after tiny problem. My previous PB was last fall with 9.47@147. We finally got the car to behave for a whole track outing and man did it finally do work! 8 second street car! Drove 2 hours to the track...ran a PB of 9.36@154 first run...
thought about it...never used one the last 5 years of not daily driving my mustang. Same battery I've had for 8 years or so...had to replace it in college at some point. But the car gets parked for months at a time...i just usually disconnect all leads to the battery. Never had an issue. Granted...
Thats crazy. How did some of those guys notice and slow down and other just fly right into it? it didn't look like a blind turn but that porsche there at the end was hauling ass and hit that guy stopped on the left hard
Trans brake and 2 step are where its at. Just set the 2 step low and you should hook. lol just gotta find a sweet spot
I just ran 2 9 second passes and my track didn't even budge. I bet i could run 8s without anyone telling me to leave because no cage. But thats why i go to that track
that is definitely moving on the big end! I just ran 139mph on wastegate but since i had a 1.4 60'...that resulted in a 9.75. So thats a 9 second mph right there!
Can we stop putting stripes on mustangs already? Most of them are ugly.
I am not a huge fan of avalanche grey but it can look good. I think this grey looks better than avalanche.
No not yet. Its ready to go in. Just doing some wiring and stuff before dropping it back in.
I wanted to do the nrg quick release and the cobra jet sparco wheel as well. But i feel like i want my airbag still until i get a cage and harness
So street driven cars...don't you want the airbag in the wheel?
I wanted to do this...then realized i street drive more than i am at the track...i don't have a cage and harness yet. Wouldn't i want to keep airbag for just in case?
