Maybe a ground wire getting old or loose,,
Dirty battery terminals, if aftermarket under clamp also get dirty
The ground from battery to radiator support I've had issues with,I upgraded this cable,
Lazy starter.
Air inlet getting clogged .that's air filter and intercooler causing slow to...
Glad you found the issue,
The manual your using ?
We have the Ford manual posted on here,
There are special steps to sealing front cover that if missed will cause oil leaks ,
Along with notes on installing timing chain components
Oil on case isn't what needs cleaning.
That intercooler is an air filter also.
Water on inside ,and air blowing thru it.
It effects air flow ,
Our manual doesn't have anything on blower,,
Yet the 03 section for lightening has a blower breakdown and install instructions
Blower has been...
Did you clean intercooler?
I also had cleaned the rotors when off and lubed the rear bearings .
The black coating on my rotors was flaking off .
Pulling them out to clean was easy
Also change the fluid in blower while off .
After reading some posts on here
I used mobile 1 in my blower
Glad to hear,
What type of quadrant did you choose. .
I did a single hook.
I noticed I can shift now with clutch not against the floor board.
Like just past 3/4 down ,
For me. I just use tight,
But use tool proper for the size bolt/nut being tightened.
Say on this job
A 1/4 inch drive hand tool.
These bolts are tiny.
The lower intake and intercooler bolts I use 1/4 in drive and just hand tight ,than slight more push with pinky finger ..
It's harder to pull as pieces .
That intercooler will get you .
As a unit it's not that bad,,
Hood will go straight up so you can stand on fender vs bending over ,
The nose has to be lifted on angle than slide it forward and up .
Remove EGR valve and all of the vacuum harness from car...
For this car ,
If it were me , after checking fuel shut off switch,
Look for 12 volts on injector with key on.
Than check for signal on injector while cranking.
Normally you would use coil and check for spark.
But being like ours injectors do same thing and accessable,
A noid light can...
No.
But issue I found.
This hose will harden,
The nipple it's on Ford DIDN'T put a clamp on it.
This hose will spin on nipple but not come off ,,hence vacuum leak .
There is also 2 elbows on back side of blower which are common to crumble and a hole start which can be seen and heard ...
With the predator after you scan for codes you can go to other functions like Data log.
Here you will find all the sensors to read ..or record
You will see tp voltage and see tp move from 1 to 5 volts when pressing pedal
To funny,,like I said hard on here.
Your pics of connections in reply #33.
Yes. I get that.
Open what I posted. Step 27
Not your reply #27.
Here it shows where that larger plug sits. On back of engine next to heater core line into head
Than a couple steps later scrolling past 27 you will...
