Hey all, have some weird issues....
So I swapped my stock seats for corbeau seats and love them. After the swap I had an srs light, did some research to find that I needed to install resistors and the bladder in the passenger seat.
Ok swapped the stuff over and installed KohR Motorsports...
So I went to a race night a few days ago and ran a ton of 1/8th mile passes. Probably 22-23 runs in a 3 hour window. Car did well, I only lost 2 all night.
Next time I drive it, I smell a little oil burning. Upon a quick investigation I see oil sheen on the cam covers and take the coil cover...
Anyone have a part number fir just the seals?
I did replace then with my valve cover kit but one set started leaking now....
I don't want t buy an entire valve cover kit again
Thanks.
Ok got the rough running straight.
My launch control (MSD) was setup wrong.....
Stupid mistake....
All good now. Just need to setup boost gauge and data log.
Where do I tap in for boost?
Thanks for that link. I think mine is a little different.
Mine is more than slight. And it does it through the rpms.
Going back over the basics tomorrow to confirm that I didn't miss something
Well after 3 evenings and 2 full days of working on it, I started it up first time tonight. I installed
Opgs
Crank sprocket
Vmp gen2R stage 2
Started right up but is missing. At idle and under throttle. No CEL though.
So I guess I'll be data logging and searching for the miss now...
So I'm installing my opg and crank sprocket then my tvs....
I was removing the timing chains....
I match marked the right (passenger side) chain at phaser and sprocket and removed it....
I marked the cam phaser and chain on the left (drivers) chain but didn't mark the sprocket! Grrrrr....
So...
Since I own one and don't want to buy an interceptor or Ngauge, I'd like any insight to using my x4 with a suction cup mount as a set of gauges....
I've heard the x4 doesn't have an on/off button so it would need to be unplugged every time?
And is it designed to be used daily to monitor...
Yeah I have a friend with a terminator who's dealing with aero force and I think I'll stay away from that.....
I'll definitely have a boost gauge.
Logan and Terry, yal are awesome and have great deals, I jumped on that 0% financing. Only reason I went through tps lol.
I have opg and crank...
I didn't get a discount, but I used the 0% financing for 6 months great deal and makes it easier to pay!
Out the door with brisk plugs was $7,189. Not too bad I suppose
Well I'm not sure if that's true or not.
But....
I just ordered a VMP gen 2-R, stage 2 kit through TPS Motorsports. Great guys there, very helpful.
*Shout out to Cesar and Mike!!
I opted for the 8psi pulley for now, new build next year or so and I'll turn it up.
