I agree. It's not fun to wait on the best car from Ford, but it will be worth the wait.
I did get a emissions form ($40) on my GT350. It was checking engine ($20) and renewing my tag ($20). This is the fastest and best GT350. It's Gen 2 with the GT500 block. I say the newer ones are clearly the...
I say the Talladega Mustang crowd was just what Ford wanted. They would get complaints due to crowded conditions otherwise.
There was also a big sold-out NASCAR crowd there. No hotel or rentals available. Those were sold out many months ago.
I stayed at a motel room in GA for one night which...
Tom,
*"I was really surprised when you sold your R."*
I was at the 60th at Talladega. I had no idea that you were there (I was home before the Sunday race),
I simply ran out of storage space, and a guy needs space to keep cars so the 95R is at a new place at an old collector here. He owns...
It is great to see some of you post again. We were a tight group.
I remember exactually when I sold my 1995 Cobra R (300 HP). I bought a 2019 Mustang GT350 (526 HP with better handling).
I remember Gingerman and other events. Heck yea that I wish I kept the 1995 Cobra R. We all make bad...
Bottom Line: A dealer can earn 3% up to 9% today (ROI =return on investment)?
A guy can easily earn 5% risk free in U.S. Treasures. The extra 4% comes with a lot of risk. Another 4% is $40K per each million invested.
Is it worth the extra headaches?
The Banks will kill you with fees and interest.
Does Rick Hendrick sales make me a gay guy that wants to buy a stupid out of production Camaro? No way.
We have ask if old Rick likes guys over girls? Yes, there is that.
I'd never buy a Camaro for any reason. .
I am just a dumb-ass consumer.
We have no big money as most dealers have. We know smart dealers make tons of revenue every year despite any microsmatic issues.
Rick Hendrick is doing really well. It's easy to make big money by selling cars.
I am posting in early 2024 when the basic original GT350 is rare and gets a premium.
The 2015 GT350 had only 137 cars so very rare.
The 2016 GT350 was 6169 cars with the 2017 GT350 at 6838 cars (277 GT30R).
Very nice!
I still own my new 2019 Mustang GT350 #K1868 (5400 miles including two track events). It's mostly a garage queen today as I want to keep the low-mile 5.2L FPC engine.
I am looking for a nice previously owned one.
So, a Ferrari California is inexpensive to service? The valves adjust themself?
My 2023 Porsche Turbo is $900 to service.
My 2019 GT350 is $160 to service,
My 1972 Porsche is $75 for me to service (~10 quarts of oil + filter + me adjusting the valves [the old mechanical valve era]).
I also...
When was the Mazda made? Who really cares? It's a girl car.
A 2012 Ferrari Cal is worth ~$100K but the regular service includes removing the entire engine. The regular Maintenace is very expensive.
I had a 2011 Mustang GT. Great 5.0 car. Sticker here:
Great car.
I am more than happy with all Mustangs and a few trucks that I bought from trusted dealers.
I still own my current 2019 Mustang:
My last 2004 Ford F350 4X4 was a great tow vehicle.
I'd say that I have the Big Dog in this fight as a FPC 2019 GT350.
The new Gt500 engine looks like this over the older guys:
The current GT500 may be the last of this bred of engines made by Ford.
