Anyone ever blow a mechanical diode on there 4r100? What were the symptoms? All the research I found on the mechanical diode is that it causes delayed shifting problems on the 1-2 shift. My trucks doing that and also on the 2-3 shift. Once it's in 3rd it's fine, the tq converter locks up and shifts into OD like normal. It will kick down into 3rd from OD, lock up then shift back to OD with problems. Any experience and advice with this problem would be greatly appreciated. I'm visiting my brother in Texas as the truck starts acting up. I may have to head north to BTS
