If anyone has any links with pics feel free to post them up!</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>1.Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.</p><p></p><p>2.Remove the engine from the vehicle and mount it on a suitable work stand.</p><p></p><p>3.Disconnect Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor connector.</p><p></p><p>4.Remove water bypass tube.</p><p></p><p>5.Disconnect Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor.</p><p></p><p>6.Disconnect fuel pressure sensor connector and vacuum line.</p><p></p><p>7.Remove ignition coils.</p><p></p><p>8.Remove spark plugs.</p><p></p><p>9.Remove valve covers.</p><p></p><p>10.Remove supercharger belt idler support bracket assembly.</p><p></p><p>11.Remove the accessory drive belt.</p><p></p><p>12.Remove water pump pulley.</p><p></p><p>13.Remove water pump.</p><p></p><p>14.Remove crankshaft pulley.</p><p></p><p>15.Remove alternator and support bracket.</p><p></p><p>16.Remove power steering pump.</p><p></p><p>17.Remove idler pulley.</p><p></p><p>18.Remove rocker arms.</p><p></p><p>19.Remove Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) valve.</p><p></p><p>20.Remove EGR tube.</p><p></p><p>21.Disconnect fuel injector wiring connectors.</p><p></p><p>22.Remove intake manifold, supercharger, and fuel supply manifold as an assembly.</p><p></p><p>23.Remove left and right exhaust manifolds.</p><p></p><p>24.Remove front cover.</p><p></p><p>25.Remove Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor pulse wheel.</p><p></p><p>26.Remove timing chains.</p><p></p><p>27.Remove hydraulic lash adjusters.</p><p></p><p>28.Remove cylinder heads.</p><p></p><p>To install:</p><p></p><p></p><p>NOTE </p><p>The cylinder head bolts are a torque-to-yield design and cannot be reused. </p><p> </p><p></p><p></p><p>1.Use new gaskets and install the cylinder heads.</p><p></p><p>2.Tighten the cylinder head bolts in sequence as follows:</p><p></p><p>■Step 1: 28–31 ft. lbs. (37–43 Nm).</p><p></p><p>■Step 2: Tighten the bolts 85–95 degrees.</p><p></p><p>■Step 3: Loosen all bolts 1 full turn.</p><p></p><p>■Step 4: Tighten all bolts to 28–31 ft. lbs.
