It's been a minute, but I think you just connect the pink/black wire to the relay. Basically skipping all the connections to the BAP.

So if a guy is putting a 2.2kb and gona have around 580ish hp. I could can just upgrade pumps and not need a bap and be fine?
Yeah. I cleared 600 on old school GT pumps. But that was a centri. My friend ran the same pumps on his 2.3 Whipple at 590ish for a few years with no issues.

Do the fpdm's need modified with any upgraded pumps or just ford gt pumps?

You need to run either dual FPDM’s (1 per GT pump) or an upgraded FPDM.

I was making 620 with upgraded GT pumps, no BAP before upgrading to return style.

I just pulled a dual FPDM harness out of my brothers car that was running GT pumps for years.

I was one of the randoms that never ran an upgraded FPDM. There weren't any available when I was looking. I never had issues so I never bothered to upgrade. The newer pumps might pull more and need it no matter what.
