He drove it pretty slow and he asked me to drive it back to the dealer to get my truck and take it back to my shop less than a mile from the dealer. So as I was giving my salesman a ride back to the dealer he asked me if I had some time to put some miles on to get the computer out of safe mode? I said sure. We hopped on the freeway (behind a State Trooper no less) and the car was still slow and had no boost. We drove about 4 miles to the turnaround and who is doing a u-turn along with us? Another State Trooper this time on a motorcycle. Does this car attract attention or was that just a coincidence? :dw: Who knows? Well as we get back onto the freeway I notice I now have boost! Quite the difference from what we had before! This car is rigid. Great platform. Nothing like my SN95 '00 R was before the chassis stiffening and roll cage! Power is smooth, constant and powerful. Nice powerband. Understand this is my first S/C vehicle. I've driven two of my wife's turboed cars but didn't really care for either? I did notice a bit of front end plow (giving the GM the ride of his life on my test track, read Industrial Park) similar to what you get in a Terminator which is understandable. The front could probably use wider wheels and maybe a lower profile tire if you really wanted to push it. This is just going to be a driver for me and it might see an exhaust system (way too quiet!) and a CAI or something like that? I'm not saying it will never be on track. Never say never!
