I am not completely sure how the 8100 rpm rev limit is implemented by the copperhead system and can't find anything useful on the internet. Does someone more knowledgeable on the ecu think an exploit will be found to increase the rev limit or is it hard-coded in, and an aftermarket ecu would be the only way to rev the motor higher? If so, is there a stand-alone ecu on the market that can handle the VCT or a possibility of one being created or is the motor permanently barred from revving any higher? I am looking into building a kit car in a few years and am highly considering a coyote power plant and would love to rev the hell out of it, after some good strong lightweight rods, upgraded valves and head work of course. Thanks Edit: The Motec standalone ecu is able to handle the VCT if tuned by someone very skilled with a lot of know-how, and is able to handle a lot more than the stock ecu, but is very pricy. I guess since I wont need to purchase all of the motor stuff for a few years and the engine is still very new I will get my other research done and just watch and see what options become available as people figure the motor out more and more. Thanks guys
