I see what you are saying and all and i have thought about all those options. Intercooling is the best option if you are going to drive the car lot, which I do. I think the best alternative is probably meth, but you would go through it like crazy when you hit boost at 2k rpms. The best thing to do would be to use a big resorvoir that goes where the battery goes or where the 03-04 cobra reservoirs go and it would need to be as big as possible so you aren't changing it out every other day. The other problem with meth is that you spray it before the compressor on a twin screw. It hits the rotors and is not nearly as effective; that's been proven. It still works, just not so well. To get it to work as good as on centris, you would have to rig it up to the lower intake after the compressor, which is what I would do. You will still go through it a lot, but if you don't drive the car a lot it's not a big deal as meth is cheap. High octane gas is another option, but it can only take you so far and is expensive in the long run if you want to run considerable boost (15+ lbs) and drive it more than a few times a week. I can't burn such expensive fuel driving 30 miles to work and back (which i will have to do until i can afford a DD). Nitrous is expensive. I plan on running some if I do a PD blower, but not all the time. The best option for me is the intercooler. And it's not really that hard. There is virtually no maintenance after it's installed either. It costs a little more up front(maybe $1000), but it is worth it in my book. Who knows, it may not work. No one has ever tried it before. I like the fact that it would be custom and something dreamed up entirely by me :) . I would probably be ok just running meth and refilling it all the time, but if I have the resources to intercool it relatively cheaply, whynot? I like the idea of not worrying about anything after it's installed. I agree on the bypass and if/when I run high boost I will have to fab a bypass into it. Let me know how that works out for you as I am very interested. As you can probably tell I also just enjoy this stuff in general  .
