Ok so I went to the store (Autozone) and ordered a K&N air filter... I pick it up and its a flat filter... I told them it should be a cone filter not flat... the one i have in there now is round so wtf... I told the guy this and he tells me oh you must have gone from a flat filter to a round one, best thing I can tell you is to come in and get your money back... Ok... Why is this such a big problem?

Autozone clerks are usually clueless. Sounds like he looked up the part number for the standard duratec, not the SVT.
You can find the correct filter at ajusa.com. They're the cheapest place I've found to date for K&N filters.
