I have tried to search the internet as well as svtp and corral, but to no avail. If this info was posted somewhere else, I kindly ask you post the link.

I am trying to gather what information I can about the computer code in these cars. I put a 4v in a 97 GT and want to put a 99/01 cobra or 03/04 mach ECU in it and need to know what computers to look for. I also posted a thread over in the mach section to ask the same question but for the mach 1 computers.

So far, this is all I have:

----- Mach 1 -----
2004 MT -----TMX2
2003 AT ----- LUF3, LUF4, 3r3a-12a650-ee
2004 AT ----- SYM2

----- Cobra -----
1999 ZMR2
2001 MSE3

Was the code different for the different years or transmissions? I know the Fox's used A9L's for 5sp cars and A9P's for auto cars, but was not sure if those rules applied here.

Any help, pictures, info or websites you may have would be greatly appreciated. I will also try to update the thread with any info I find to help others who may also be in search of an answer to this question.

2001 Cobra is MSE3. Can't comment on the auto vs. manual thing since all Cobras came from the factory as manuals. I have heard of some Mach guys switching over to the Cobra computer though. I think it has to do with the processing speed. Since the Cobras have a higher redline they have a faster processor. That's what I've heard, I don't know how accurate it is.

Thanks for the input. I should have mentioned AT vs MT for the mach's. Sorry I wasn't more specific. I need to do more research and see if it's true about the cobra having a faster processor. I would have thought since the Mach was a newer model, it would have gotten the faster computer but it makes sense if the cobras have a higher redline to put it in them.

Thanks.
