Any pot roast slow cooker receipies?

I just got a slow cooker and I want to start cooking some stuff in it. I know usually many of you have some good receipies. Lets here here them.... I want to break this thing in.

I just got a slow cooker and I want to start cooking some stuff in it. I know usually many of you have some good receipies. Lets here here them.... I want to break this thing in.

I take a pot roast, and cut about 10 slits in it and stuff a garlic clove in each one. I then cover the pot roast with olive oil and all sides, cover with salt and pepper, then pan sear on each side. Put pot roast in crock pot. Add beef broth, worstershire, salt and pepper. Add quartered vadalia, quartered red potatoes, and carrots.

I usually cook mine in a dutch oven with a two step process, but you can do it in a crock pot as well.

i take a nice sized roast and a big Guiness beer, some onions, carrots, and potatoes and let that cook for 4 or 5 hours and its the bomb
