So I guess I will finally post more details about my car as I am very close to putting the motor back in the car. this past weekend I did final assembly on the heads, and mocked up all the procharger bracketry before getting too far along. Also took the PSR intake fully apart cause JB weld is not what needs to be on this motor- so everything was rewelded strong. I also decided to cut off the EGR mounting location and move my coil packs to that side of the intake above the pass side fuel rail for a clean look, also rewired the wiring harness to accomplish this as well. I really hate that **** eyed shit that vortech and procharger move your coil packs to. so gonna put the motor back in soon and then fab the intercooler piping. I will take pics soon, and ask any questions you want. here's my mod list minus a few parts I will be adding shortly:

Quite the laundry list! Sounds like fun lol

"Procharger F1a polished supercharger 5.40 step up gear, reclocked oil slinger gear and volute"

You lost me after the Procharger F1a polished supercharger part :) Care to explain the range of step up gears you can get and how they affect the supercharger? I'd assume the step up gear is how fast it builds boost?

GREAT build man!! IIRC you are going to open track this car correct?? I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend a Canton Road Racing Oil Pan. There is no skimping on a oil pan when open tracking.

Are you running an intercooler? If so be sure to post up some pics of how you routed the piping.

That blower bracket is a beast! Lol. It makes my s-trim bracket look weak!

Edit: After reading through your mod list I see your running a procharger 3-core intercooler. I had to cut up the bumper bracket to get mine to fit with decent ground clearance. I can post some pics if your having trouble deciding on how to do yours. If you've already mounted it and ran intercooler piping I'd like to see pics of how you did yours.

I am removing all front bumper bracing and brackets- so I forsee no problems with routing the piping- I know this doesn't help you much but I will say that I have long range 200mph goals for the car so I will be fabbing a bar brace for the bumper- but by that time I hope I will have moved to a full tiger racing front end

I totally agree with you- I actually am going to take the stock oil pan and fab it the way I want it- my buddy who is guiding me along builds motors for a scca team and has lots of little "tricks" for oil pans

think of the step up ratio like your rear end gears but for the blower. so as opposed to a P1/D1 step up of 4.1 to 1- the f1a 5.4 to 1 will build boost faster and more linear. as far as the reclocked part- any time you rotate the volute (the outlet of the headunit) you must move (reclock) the oil slinger gear as well so that it is positioned in the most downward position possible so that you are not starving your headunit for oil- it's a mother bitch to move since it is held with dowel pins in the housing but totally a neccessity.

That's cool man, I've already got my intercooler mounted and piping made, I was just wanting to see how you did your and how ur pipe from the IC to the TB was routed.

Looks like a fun build!

You probably can't run that front brake setup with a 17" wheel, can you?

Just kind of curious too, do you have the feed for the rails coming in the front or the back of them? Wonder what degree fittings you're running off of the back of the rails?
