Musical Emblems

I want to remove the Ford emblem from the rear decklid and replace with the SVT emblem..

From research on the board. I've heard that the Ford emblem has an alignment hole underneath it and the SVT emblem does not have any holes underneath it.
Can anyone confirm?

Also, i plan to heat up the emblems slightly, remove them with fishing line and clean up the residue with rubbing alcohol or goo be gone.

Does anyone have a better method?
Also, what adhesive can i use to re-stick the SVT emblem on the otherside of the decklid (where the ford emblem once was.)?

Yes my friend you heard correctly. Theres only alignment holes underneath the blue oval.
When I blackout my rear panel i had to remove both emblems. A blow dryer and fishing string works just fine, I think i just rolled the residue with my finger and used wax for the rest. Goo gone doesn't really work for shit, on anything. I dont think i would use rubbing alcohol, but thats just me. As for putting it back on i used 3m double sided tape. worked perfect. i think that's pretty muck what they use from factory.

Just use fishing line a be careful, she will come right off,
and leave 2 holes in your trunk. I covered mine with a powered
by venom emblem, after I silicone the 2 holes.

Would the SVT emblem cover the two holes?

I'm pretty sure it will, but your going to have to align it over the holes
like I did. Not much choice of where your going too put it.

There under there somewhere, like 2 inches apart.

Yeah im pretty sure it would, ill try and dig up a pic with my emblem off i think its on my other computer.
