00 or 03?

So i am in the process of buying a Lightning for my new "project car". Is there a noticeable difference between a 00 and a 03 if i plan on modifying it? Both trucks r the same its just the 00 has 105k for 16 and the 03 has 58k for 21. Is it worth the extra cash for having all the changes for the 03?

'00- Wheel design, regular look headlights & taillights, honeycomb grille, and color choices

'00 has No keyless-entry number pad built-in driver's door handle, Cassette Radio w/6-disc changer [03 CD radio w/ CD Changer]
3rd Brake-light is regular F-150 ['03 LED w/ round bed spot lights]
'00 Supercharger stamped "Eaton" while '03 stamped "Ford-logo SVT"
'00 inside door handles black while '03 is faux billet/aluminum look
'00 may or may-not have turn-signals built-in on the side mirrors while '03 is in the mirror lens
'00 Steering wheel has smooth leather versus the textured/racing-look on the '03


Build/Performance Differences:
'00- Rear "softer" leaf springs [less "stink-bug" look], OE heavy duty shocks versus Bilstein-shocks
'00 has No boost by-pass [Supercharger on '03 relieves pressure after so-many seconds] boost stays in pressure entire time during hard acceleration.
360 HP ['03 380 HP], Rear axle gear ratio different between the '00 & '03

Depends on how far you're taking it. The big difference you'd notice is the 3.55s in the 00
