2011 GT Borla Atak Catback Setup HELP

Looking to buy a borla atak Catback system ,which comes with the X pipe; as well as JBA or BBK longtube headers for my 2011 GT. My problem is the cats...I'm trying to track down high flow cats that will fit the atak system (2.75"). Any advice from those of you running a similar setup? And do I need to get them welded in or can I clamp on?

You should be able to get a 3" pair and have them welded in. But you aren't going to be able to directly bolt up the borla x pipe to bbk headers or jba. You will need a shorty mid pipe with that and then you could get a catted mid. But if you do get borla longtubes you will be able to mount up the entire borla catback up.

Just be aware that it's gonna be bonkers loud even with cats at anything over 5% throttle. My ataks lasted 3 days after I put headers on. Some people like it that way though.

Mine is catless and as long as I'm nice with the throttle it's not bad.
