2017 Chevy Camaro, SS, Black

I had a client bring in her newly purchased 2017 SS Camaro in black. It needed a paint correction and she wanted it coated.

The finish was a little banged up from the lot/dealer and did need a correction. Performed a 2 step correction and then coated the vehicle. Wheels off, calipers, wheels and wheel wells coated.

The paint readings were good for factory paint and I found the paint to be on the soft side. It responded to my correction quite well. 2 steps and it was looking like glass!

Client is really into this new purchase and wanted to modify it a little bit. New blacked out badges front and rear were installed. They cleaned up the look from the factory gold bowties.

She spec’d the vehicle with the factory sport exhaust, and I must say that this is one great sounding factory exhaust!!! Cold start up’s can be a little startling!!! So cool!

Looks great as always! I like that Beeds HD does not have the fumes like other coatings. Is it for sale to the public or do you have to know somebody? Did you use IR to "bake" the coating at all or just let it set?

^^^Thank you!!! You have to be an authorized installer to get it/use it.
It does have low fumes! No, I did not use IR lights, I just let it cure overnight. I will be looking into some IR's for in the future to speed up cure times.

Love black and hate it too.

I remember when I did a full correction on my old black 99 GT..... it was pretty much a dark grey from all the oxidation..... looked like I repainted the car after I was done.

Great work with the Camaro, looks good.
