Is anyone having luck on ordering these cars around 1000 above invoice? If so any suggestions on a Midwest dealer? I did this when i ordered my Raptor a few years back. I thinking just a standard Gt350 with the electronics pack. Id even be willing to do an R if i could do it for MSRP...but I wont pay over that for one. I didn't see much recent info on this?

I'd do both of those deals as would most of us here.
Unfortunately '18 production is limited and nobody knows if a '19 GT350 will happen. Some leaked documents show a 2020 5.2 GT350 and in another '19 Mustang shows only 3 engines--2.3EB, 5.0, 5.2 SC.
I eventually will contact my local dealer, if their '18 allocation still filled, I'll ask my guy if he can contact the regional guy to see if any local allocations still unused.

I am assuming that the GT350 is done after 2018. I am going to see what the scoop is with the Gt500 before i make a decision. If i could get an R for MSRP i would make the jump. I would assume that the GT500 will be more than the GT350 and will have ADM.

I agree and have same thoughts. The trick will be finding a unused R allocation (difficult due to lower production) but more likely finding a sitting '17 R during next few months for close to MSRP.
I really like Lightning Blue so it's 17/18 only. Some R owners may sell for next GT500 also, but used is a different game.
Good luck.

Are you going to back that up with some hard evidence or just come onto the forum and throw isht against the wall to see if it sticks?

Not very many Rs will be sold at MSRP. Not many GT350s will be sold at $1,000 over invoice, as it cost the dealer $1,000 for one allocation.

I got my GT350 for sticker, the same dealer also had another for sticker at that same time. At that time there were at least 3 others that I knew of within 50 miles, also going for sticker. so I think saying that not many GT350s will go for $1k over sticker isn't quite right.

I don't mean to be a dick, but how about you go back and read what I said before you comment meaningless information.

x10.

"Sticker" and "invoice" are not the same thing. Nick can correct me if wrong, but i'd imagine there is a $2500-3000 difference between the two. Maybe more.

I paid $2000 over INVOICE on my 2014.
He said they paid $2000 in order to sell the Shelby line and received 2 allocations.
Gotta love honest dealers---guy above me included :)

Big question, will they continue the GT350 after 2019. The leaked 2020 engine list showed both 350/500 separately 5.2/5.2SC.
350 with 2018 updates and DCT would be killer.

HAHA.....stirring the pot. I would be very surprised if the GT350 existed past 2018 and it will be replaced by the 500. To me, one of the give-aways with the 350 not going past 18 was the lack of a front end redesign to more closely follow the rest of the 18 line body-wise.

I know we don't have official 500 confirmation, but where there's smoke...

Tom
