Im getting the same setup. I'm torn though it has an h pipe in it right now. Wondering if I should convert to an x pipe



Josh, a general rule of thumb:

Chambered mufflers = H pipe
Non chambered = X pipe

Not always the case, but in general they usually sound the best in the above configurations.
In your case, the X is most likely the way to go.

So the other day i put 8n fuel injector cleaner and the next day it was misfiring and backfiring with loss of power. New plug wires are on with no help. Got the code. Any help would be appreciated fellas. New msd plug wires pic

Lean conditions usually won't be helped by wires and plugs as lean is caused by not enough fuel. Check your fuel pressure at the fuel rail Schrader valve , could have a lazy fuel pump , clogged injectors , clogged fuel filter.

Fuel filter is new only about 6 months old. Pump is old as dirt though so ill look into that . I was thinking injectors also

Figured it out lol I was the cause for that code by removing the pcv valve with it running. Installed new msd plug wires and new copper core plugs to. As of now misfires and hesitation is gone. Shes peppy again and more so than before all this. Now its all msd ignition. Will be needing new upstream O2s asap though.
