ATI 20% overdrive and stock tensioner issues

So I odered the ATI 20% overdirive balancer and only foot notes state need new water pump pulley. However the stock tensioner won't ft or clear the new balancer. Is there a tensioner that works or will the 10% or 15% work. ATI has "never heard of this isssue before".

They said to use the vmp or FRPP 10 rib conversion and billet thump tensioner.
Well that is another $2200! That's not gonna happen.

So in short will the 10% or 15% OD work with stock tensioner or will another brand tensioner work with the 20%?

Or what is a fellow to do?!

I have 20% over ATI with a stock tensioner and it fits with vortech supercharger.

VMP sells a smaller tensioner. That's all you need. There proud of it but it is nice, I have it with there 8 rib conversion and 15 o/o over.

I went 15% and modified stock one. Vs spending $300 on VMP.
VMP is a nice peice but was a back up plan. So far so good

Ya I moved my stock tensioner for a while as well but when I upgraded to Boss alt I had to move it back to stock location. That's why I sucked it up and bought the VMP tensioner.

yeah next yr i may buy the VMP.
It is a nice piece for sure....
