Borla s type

Alright guys, at the moment im running an o/r h, stock oap, and flowmaster outlaws. I love the sound of the outlaws because they are deep and throaty but I want to change it up to get rid of some of the drone.

I've been looking at running the borla s type axlebacks but dont really want to pay $7xx for it. Jegs sells the bullet style s types but i dont know if they will be deep like the rectangle ones that come in the axleback. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any imput is appreciated

Bite the bullet and get the S-types. The sound is worth it. You can get lucky and find a used set for sale. I got mine for $450 shipped.

Its one of those things were I can buy the round bullets for $300 and weld them in myself if they have a similar tone to the a/b. I just dont really care for high pitch toned exhaust on the 5.0's and dont know if the round ones will be have that or not.

I've got a set of Steeda cans (rebranded Borla S-types) coming off the car shortly. Got about 15k on them, if'n you're interested.
