Haven't taken to the track, currently in the middle of down a tr6060 swap. Then I'm hoping get into the 9s.

Their known to be the same transmission, only difference is that the t56 xl is longer so it can be a direct mount shifter. Tr6060 is just so easy cause all the gt500 bolts right on our stuff.

I KNOW THIS POST IS OLD AS HELL BUT DONT BE DISCOURAGED MY COUSIN WITH HIS BONE STOCK 12 BOSS 302 ON FACTORY PIRRELLIS RAN A BEST OF 13.9 AND WAS DOING 14S CONSECUTIVELY IM SURE YOU HAVE GOTTEN ALOT FASTER SINCE THE FIRST TIME YOU RAN
My stock 13 on factory Pirellis runs 13.7's - 9's on a crappy strip.
No lockout at rev limit thanks to Spec 2+ clutch & MGW.

Stock Pirellis need some heat in them to hook. A good 5-6 second burnout helps. I launch at about 3000 RPMs and shift at 6900-7000 in my '13 GT Track Pack. Tire pressure around 22psi. Best run last time at the track was [email protected] with a 1.92 60'. Bone stock other than an MGW shifter.
This spring I will ditch the Pirellis (man they are awful ) in favor of some MPSSs. I'll also have the car tuned - more to sharpen the throttle response and raise the limiter ( with 3.73's I'm just hitting it at the stripe ) but a few extra ponies will be nice too. Some suspension upgrades ( LCA relo, Koni coilovers, Watts link, etc ) should help me get rid of the awful wheelhop I get in stock trim.
