I have a 2015 Vortech supercharged GT. I noticed today that there is A LOT of oil in the intake and I would like to rectify this. I see everyone using catchcan setups rather than just filter breathers on the valve covers. Can someone please explain why the more complicated and expensive option is better? Thanks

Smell and/or possible mess. Can mist through the breathers. I don't have a 5.0 but run breathers on my car and switching to a can with the outlet to the blower. Smell of hot oil gets old pretty quick. Only ran breathers for the tune since my regulator took up the catch can spot. To each their own though.
