Convertible/coupe seatbelts

Quick question guys, are the seatbelts any different between a 98 cobra coupe and a convertible? My passenger side seatbelt sometimes sticks and won't go in all the way or will lock in the retracted position. I haven't seen any specific to convertibles and I just want to make sure it's right before I buy it. Thanks in advance!

I am pretty sure that the coupe & convertible seat belts are different. Have you considered taking your sticking passenger belt apart? It is likely a white plastic shard from the flanges of the belt spool that are causing it to stick.

yes they're completely different. the hardtop seatbelts don't have a retracting mechanism bolted to the cabin floor.
