COP longevity

Do COPs lose strength over time? My 2001 Bullitt are factory. I don't have any codes, so just wondering if they weaken over 17 years.

No coil lasts forever but they will last longer if the plugs are changed at regular intervals and are gapped properly for your setup.

They are epoxy coils so they don't weaken like the old oil filled coils did. They put the same spark out till they finally fail.
